Welcome to our world

Welcome. In these pages you'll find the story behind Three Castles, one of Britain's leading organisers of classic car experiences. Established now for almost a decade, we are known as one of Britain's premier classic car rally organisers. For more on our story so far, click here.

We have recently announced a limited edition series of short breaks for classic car enthusiasts called Encounters, to be run in partnership with international luxury hotel market leaders, Relais & Chateaux, and Classic & Sports Car magazine. You can learn more about them here.

Our flagship event is the Three Castles Welsh Classic Trial, Britain's most popular prestige classic car rally. The ninth 'Three Castles', will run from 1st - 4th June 2011. Make a note in your diary - this website will carry more information from late summer on. You can learn about the 2010 event here.

The 'About Three Castles' 'New! Encounters' and '2010 Trial' links at the top will also take you to the relevant sections on us, and on our latest events. When you're there, use the menu at the side of each page to find the information you need. Whether your interest is in enjoying your classic, competing, marshalling or just spectating, from history to regulations, from useful links to advice on classic rallying, we hope you'll find something to interest you here.

And of course, we very much hope we'll have the pleasure of your company in Wales for more classic rallying at its best, on the next Three Castles Welsh Classic Trial in June 2011, and perhaps before then in the English countryside, for an Encounter in March 2011.

2010 Results

Mark & Sue Godfrey and their 1951 MG TD survived all challenges to win the 2010 Three Castles, which finished as it began, in brilliant sunshine. Graham Walker & Sean Toohey came through to finish second, narrowly ahead of John Abel & Tony Davies (Sunbeam Tiger) and former winners Jayne Wignall & Kevin Savage (Sunbeam 20HP Sports).

Guest Tony Mason declared the happy event, which enjoyed terrific weather and on which there was not a single results query, "The Rally of a Thousand Smiles".

Official competitor photographer, Tony Large, covered the whole event. Click the link above to go to his site, where you will be able to view and purchase yours.

Over £5,000 Raised for Charity

Official charity ABF The Soldiers' Charity has received more than £5,000 in donations made at the 2010 Three Castles Welsh Classic Trial.

"You did it again! Just when I thought the Three Castles couldn’t get any better, it did… regular rally participants all agree that this is also the most friendly (event)."

Hal Danby, England, 2009.
